Local resident captures moment Didsbury, Alberta tornado came close to home
A local resident in Didsbury, Alberta caught this tornado close to their home on July 1.
"A funnel cloud started across the highway at the end of our driveway. [It] jumped the highway and came through the south side of our property before veering south and levelling our neighbour's shop, then hooked back northeast through our other neighbour's property. The video is shooting straight east of my garage door."
The tornado caused extensive damage to homes and properties.
