This is the moment a rescue team freed a huge python caught in a farmer's net fence in Thailand.

The snake catchers cut loose the massive reptile that had slithered onto resident Peerapat's property in Udon Thani province on June 16.

The serpent was placed inside a sack and hauled away into the undergrowth away from the residential area.

The reticulated python is found throughout Southeast Asia, where they live in forests, swamps, canals and even in cities, causing them to come into conflict with humans. The species is one of the world's largest snakes and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats and other snakes.
