This family function descended into hilarious chaos when a mother and her brother decided to wrestle with each other.

TikTok user @thatgirlshirleyy filmed the clip at her home in DeSoto, Texas, on June 23.

The footage shows the filmer's her mum locking arms with her uncle whilst other family members watch on laughing.

Newsflare's filmer said: "My mum and uncle haven't seen each other in weeks and he ended up coming to Sunday dinner on Father's Day. They haven't spoken because she has been upset with him.

"So when he walked he spoke to everyone and while he was saying hello to everyone he was also taking off his belt.

"My mum hadn't acknowledged him yet because she was eating dinner at the table so when he went over to say hello to her and she got up from the table to hug him he swung the belt and he said don't ever go without talking to me that long.

"They began to wrestle and my grandmother is the ONLY person that can break it up. So we had to call in reinforcements and have their mum (my grandmother) break up the fights. this happens at EVERY FAMILY FUNCTION and THEY MUST hug it out after every wrestling match."
