The French football star landed in the capital Yaounde for the first time with his Cameroonian-born father Wilfrid and received a warm welcome from fans and officials.
Footage shows the want-away PSG captain - who has refused to sign a new contract with the Arab-funded club - deplaning from a jet and greeting starstruck locals.
He is scheduled to make a charity visit to youngsters with disabilities in the city, as well as meet with local officials.
