This is the moment a fearless dog fought off a leopard that had snuck into its owner's home in Kolhapur, Maharashtra.

CCTV footage captured on July 8 and shared by the Kolhapur Forest Office shows the wild cat making its way into the room where two dogs were sleeping.

One of the pooches managed to escape but the other, named Dango, took the fight to the leopard seeing it quickly retreat.

Fortunately, both dogs escaped without and major injuries.

Caught under the cctv footage, the leopard can be seen attempted to ambush the sleeping in a bunglow room in Kolhapur city of Maharashtra.
However the dog was sleeping at the time of attack, but the dog bravely fought the leopard and startled leopard to retreat.
