This is the terrifying moment a woman was struck by lightning as a thunderstorm passed over Kolomna, Russia, on July 7.

Alevtina Simonova was recording the storm when the lightning bolt struck. She told Newsflare: "After work, as usual, I took the train to get home. I crossed a puddle, where a video was shot and decided to record a video about how deplorable the weather is.

"As a result, I filmed a video as if a girl was hit by lightning several times next to her. She could not walk and possibly speak because of the shock, a man helped her, carried her inside the station and put her on a bench, аfter that she was hospitalized."

The woman is in a stable condition.
