Two 15-year-old girls injured in Orekhovo-Zuevo park ride accident, investigation underway
Two 15-year-old girls were injured in Orekhovo-Zuevo, Russia, when a cabin of a children's attraction in a local park suddenly fell. The incident occurred on July 5, 2023 and the girls were immediately rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment. The Moscow Region prosecutor's office reported that a criminal case has been opened under Article 238 of the Criminal Code, which deals with the provision of services that fail to meet safety requirements. As a result, an investigation has been initiated to assess compliance with safety regulations regarding the operation of children's attractions in the park.
