A group of around 2,000 anti-LGBT+ stormed a Pride event held in Georgia's capital Tbilisi on July 8.

Georgia's deputy interior minister Aleksandre Darakhvelidze said police tried to stop the demonstrators but could not hold them all back.

Opponents of the "Pride Festival" left the area around Lisi Lake. Before leaving the area, they announced that part of them would move to Rustaveli Avenue, and the rest would remain on spot, but in the end, the opponents of the festival left the area completely.
