Terrifying moment partygoer climbs popular Ibiza hotel – caught on camera by Brit tourist
A woman on holiday has gone viral after sharing the "terrifying" moment a man climbed along a ledge at her hotel.
Charlie Brooke Walsh, from Surrey, filmed the encounter from her bedroom balcony at Ibiza Rocks Hotel while on a trip with her sister and friend.
After noticing the man shimmying along the hotel ledge, Charlie shared her shock and claimed she would have "PTSD" from the incident if he fell.
The dental nurse shared the viral clip to TikTok, which gained 1.1 million views and over 49,000 likes and had viewers were on the edge of their seats with worry.
“I was in Ibiza Rocks when a man climbed up onto the roof of the hotel," the 19-year-old told http://NeedToKnow.co.uk.
"It’s so concerning that these things happen on a regular occurrence.
"My thoughts when he was on the roof is I don’t want to watch a young person lose their life from silly behaviour.
"All I could think about was the feeling of him falling.
"His friend got in contact with me afterwards but I didn’t speak to the man on the ledge as he got chucked out the hotel!"
Fortunately, Charlie revealed that the man got down safely after the dangerous stunt, but since sharing the video, she received some backlash from trolls who claimed she was only worried about herself.
She said: "He got down by walking across the entire ledge and climbing onto a balcony on the other side.
"Everyone has their own opinion but I’ve been getting a lot of hate saying I’m only worried about the ‘PTSD’ it would cause and not the actual man falling, which isn’t true.
"Of course, I was scared of how it would affect my life if he did fall, but him dying is just as bad – however it would have been his fault!"
After watching the clip that showed the man's brush with death, commenters were quick to share their horror.
Zane said: "Icl I wouldn’t be watching I would’ve walked away." [sic]
Another person wrote: "I thought we was watching the dude stood by the railing I didn’t even notice the dude on the roof."
One person wrote: "My hands are sweating watching this.”
Chels said: "How the hell did he get back down.”
Lindsay wrote: "No no no no no.”
One commenter said: "This is why I hate travelling to places with a huge party scene, just so many mindless people.”
Another person added: "What a tool.”
Jadeerica wrote: "Just why.”
