Heartwarming footage shows how twin sisters held a double wedding - to make the milestone twice as nice.

Johanna Christanne and Joanne Christine grew up close, so when they were finally ready to build their own families, the duo decided to do a grand ceremony on the same day.

The video shows the blushing brides holding their white bouquets and donning long gowns while stylists fix the veil on their hair in Cavite, the Philippines on May 19.

Their cousin Arbie Gayle Alegre said: ‘We felt so happy witnessing my favourite twin cousins get married at the same time.'

By the end of the church wedding ceremony, the two couples shared their first kiss with emotional families watching.

Arbie added: ‘Nothing beats family. We love them so much.'
