Info from Licensor: "On Memorial Day Monday, as Clarisse the chihuahua laid basking in the sun, an American bulldog entered the property and attacked her. Clarisse's owner tried to save her beloved dog, breaking her hands in the process. The bulldog then entered the home and chased after the owner's bulldog puppy while she called for help. The attacking dog's owner eventually showed up and got his dog under control. Clarisse and Ruby were then transferred to the emergency vet and the homeowner was also taken to receive emergency care. Clarisse was taken into emergency surgery where she later succumbed of her injuries. Ruby was treated and released."
