Workers in a car encountered a wild giant panda ambling along a road on their way to the countryside in northern China.

The video was filmed in Baoji City in Shaanxi Province on June 29.

The staff members from the Water Conservancy Bureau were driving from Huangbaiyu Town to Gaojiaba. Since they spotted a wild panda, they brought their vehicle to a gentle halt at the roadside.

Much to their surprise, the panda seemed unphased by their presence, calmly glancing back after every few steps it took, before eventually disappearing into the nearby woods.

The unexpected encounter lasted for about 20 minutes.
