Restaurant workers in Indonesia have the skills to carry many plates at once when serving customers.

In footage filmed in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra Province, today (July 14), shows the waiter stacking up to 9 plates on one arm while cleaning the table and one large bowl in the right hand.

Carrying plates in the traditional way before and after serving customers can only be found in Padang authentic restaurants in West Sumatra.

The waiter, named Rio, Eko dan Widi, claimed he can carry 20 plates at once, commenting: "It took two to three years to study this skill.”

They admitted that when they studied it they often dropped plates with the consequence that they had to pay for the broken plate.
