Wholesome moment Japanese commuter helps tourist carry suitcase down stairs
A Japanese commuter proved why the country is famously polite - when he helped a struggling female tourist carry her suitcase down a set of steps.
Onlookers captured the wholesome act of kindness at the H17 station in Tokyo, Japan on July 12.
Thirasaya Pradam was trying to carry her pink luggage down the set of stairs when the local noticed her arduous endeavour.
He politely stopped the woman and carried the case to the bottom of the stairs, setting it down with a subtle bow and going on his way.
Thirasaya said: 'I was touched by how helpful he was. People in Japan are so polite and kind.'
