Pilgrims Vandalize Car After Kanwar Gets Damaged in Uttarakhand, India

A group of fervent worshippers vandalized a car near Mangalore Gur Mandi on the Delhi-Haridwar highway in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, on July 10.
The incident occurred after the car collided with a Kanwar, causing it to break. Infuriated, the pilgrims physically assaulted the car driver and proceeded to flip the car over and attempt to set it on fire. Local intervention prevented further damage and saved the driver.
The police arrived at the scene and successfully restored order after resolving misunderstandings with the pilgrims.
