Bridge Collapses Amid Heavy Rainfall in Kiratpur, Uttar Pradesh, India
This footage was filmed and produced 10 July 2023.
Following heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding in northern India's Uttar Pradesh, a bridge collapsed in Kiratpur village near the New Pinjore-Surajpur and HMT Bypass on July 10.
Video footage captured the chilling moment when the bridge gave way under the pressure exerted by the raging waters beneath. The forceful water struck the pillars, causing one of them to collapse. As a result, a portion of the bridge broke down and crumbled into the water.
Fortunately, no one was present on that particular section of the bridge when it collapsed, as people were standing at the other end.
