The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) successfully rescued six individuals who were stranded due to the overflowing Beas river caused by heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh, northern India. The incident occurred in Nagwain village, Mandi district, on July 9.

Video footage captured the ongoing rescue operation, where officials used a sturdy rope to assist those trapped. Despite the raging waters of the overflowing river, the trapped individuals were carefully guided across. A large crowd had gathered to witness the rescue.

Himachal Pradesh has been severely affected by heavy rainfall, resulting in flash floods that have caused significant destruction, including the loss of lives.
