A flash flood caused by extreme weather hit the city of Padang, West Sumatra Province, Indonesia, on Friday (July 14).

A minibus was seen by eyewitnesses being dragged by the strong flood currents and was eventually flipped over above a roadside gutter.

Resident Kevin Mahendra, the filmer, said that the car was swept away as heavy rain, which had hit the city since the previous evening. He said that there were no casualties in the incident.

The flood was the worst for several years in Padang, according to locals.
