STORYLINE:

"Bamboo slips, embroidery, and various traditional specialties, these are what you can see at the Main Media Center of the Universiade.
The center goes into service from July 25, and will operate around the clock."

Located near the Dong'an Lake Sports Park where the Games' opening ceremony will take place, the MMC includes the Main Press Center (MPC) and International Broadcasting Center (IBC).

"This is the media workroom, which is located on the ground floor of the MPC. We have a total of 340 seats here, and there are 42 wall-mounted TV sets and two large LED screens measuring 15 square meters each, on which the journalists can watch the live streaming of the events."

"The media backpack is designed with many Chinese elements. You can see at the front a 'Golden Sun Bird' pattern, and on one of its shoulder straps, you also see a typical Chinese-style design.
The media backpack is called 'Jinnang.' It contains rich items including souvenirs and office supplies. What's more, it includes a media guide for all the registered journalists to make their work easier when reporting at each venue."

The restaurant at the media center serves a wide range of dishes that can please the palates of people from all over the world, featuring the unique Sichuan cuisine known for its spicy and flavorful dishes.
