This is the pineapple grenade bomb found by a resident in the city of Padang on behalf of Bahri when he was cleaning a plantation, Sunday (16 July 2023).


not knowing it was a grenade, it was brought home and cleaned. when cleaning the object, bahri suspected that the object was like a grenade bomb and he immediately reported it to the police. "I found the grenade while hoeing in my garden as deep as 30 centimeters, then after cleaning the plantation I took the object home and washed it because it was filled with mud, but in the end I suspected that the object was like a pineapple-shaped grenade, I reported it to the police,".

After being reported, the Padang city police deployed a number of bomb disposal personnel to Bahri's house. after inspection, it turned out that the object was an active pineapple grenade and was immediately evacuated from the residential area.

East Padang Sector Police Superintendent, Ipda Syahrial said "the object was an active grenade which allegedly came from the Indonesian war with the invaders hundreds of years ago, we lowered the bomb squad to immediately evacuate by detonating it in a wide area,".

in the process of detonating the pineapple grenade, the police gave a police line so that the public would not get it.

The pineapple grenade was exploded by a bomb disposal team in the middle of a rice field owned by residents.
