An elderly woman rested her feet on a fellow passenger's face while they were asleep on a train in China.

The video was filmed by Zhang, a student who happened to be on the same train. According to Zhang, the elderly lady appeared to be dozing off herself when she decided to find extra comfort by resting her feet on the opposite seat.

Zhang claim that the awkward ordeal lasted for more than ten minutes before the young man finally turned his head away to escape the potentially unpleasant odour that emanated from the woman’s feet.

A netizen commented on Weibo, a Twitter-like social media, “ Extremely Shameless! This is no longer just about an unpleasant odour! This could cause respiratory infections, and in severe cases, even trigger fungal pneumonia.” While another person questioned: “How could she dare to place her feet there when someone's head was right in that spot?"
