Hero passerby uses rope to pull exhausted dog from swamp
A hero passerby used a length of rope to pull an exhausted dog from a swamp.
Jesada Pulsen was walking home when he heard a whimpering sound coming from a quagmire in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, Thailand, on May 22.
He searched around and noticed the head of a pooch floating on the surface of the water while its body was submerged.
Footage shows the good Samaritan Jesada making a DIY noose using trash rope he found. He reached it over to the pooch, who bit it.
He said: ‘The dog's legs were tangled with plants. It was too tired to climb up. I think it had been there for hours already.'
The creature was returned to its owners and cleaned up. It was unhurt after the incident.
Jesada added: ‘I always move to different provinces because of work. I hope the dog learned its lesson not to play near the water.'
