This is the heartwarming moment an extremely rare set of craniopagus-conjoined twins collected a school award.

Footage shows the inspirational sisters Joy and Joyce Magsino, 15, proudly claiming their medals during the ceremony in Quezon province, the Philippines on July 12.

The siblings - whose skulls were fused together at birth - finished elementary school with distinction.

Supportive big sister Fatima said it was a happy moment for their family and the girls.

She said: 'They even have high honours. I am so excited for their future. I know they can become successful.'

Craniopagus is a rare form of conjoined twins where the twins are fused at the head. It is so unusual that only one in every 2.5 million births has been reported to have it.
