Emotional footage shows how a cancer patient tried to hold back tears while having her hair shaved at the salon.

Before being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, Phatrasorn Yok would have regular hair pamper days to change styles in Bangkok, Thailand.

But as she started her medication, the sick 25-year-old knew she would soon lose clumps of her dark blonde shining glory, so she decided to cut it before it happens.

In the video, teary-eyed Phatrasorn is seen watching herself in the mirror as the hairdressers shaved her hair on June 21.

From time to time, the cancer patient smiled and laughed as the kind stylists cheered her up.

Phatrasorn said: ‘I don't know what will happen in the years to come, but I hope I get through this difficult time in my life.'
