SOUNDBITE (Turkish): ATAKAN BOZKURT, CEO of Burger King China
"After the hard days of the pandemic, we have full faith in the policies taken by the Chinese government to revive the economy, boost investment, and support businesses in the post-pandemic era.
As these policies get implemented, Chinese consumption will return to pre-pandemic levels or even higher. This is another motivation for us to continue to grow in the Chinese market.
Therefore, that is why we are continuing to invest.
We plan to expand by opening 250 to 300 restaurants a year in the Chinese market."
TFI currently has 1,450 restaurants and 25,000 employees in China.
