Quick-thinking pedestrian saves boy hurtling down hill on toy scooter in China
A quick-thinking pedestrian saved a two-year-old boy who was hurtling down a hill in an out-of-control toy scooter.
The two-year-old boy ventured too far from his home and began rolling down the steep road in Honghe, a city in Yunnan Province, China, on June 22.
At the same time, the local construction worker was walking up the hill and spotted the hazard.
Street surveillance cameras captured the helpless child rolling down as the man stepped into the path and scooped him up in his arms, preventing a serious accident,
Other bystanders rushed over to help the man while one woman picked up the boy in her arms to make sure he was safe and unharmed.
