Shark spotted near pier at hotel resort Jaz Samaya, Coraya bay, Marsa Alam, Egypt, July 2023.
I spotted this shark while snorkeling near pier at Coraya bay, Marsa Alam, Egypt. There is big complex of several hotels - Jaz Hotel group and Steigenberger Coraya Beach hotel.
Shark did not show any aggression to any snorkelers or me. Shark is 2m long, Maybe a bit more.
It was around 18:00, July 2023. Shark swam in direction from Coraya bay beach to pier and towards reef in direction of Jaz Grand hotel.
