A glass door fell onto a doctor as a woman pushed it open in a clinic in eastern China.

Terrifying CCTV footage filmed in the city of Lianyungang in Jiangsu Province on July 11 shows a glass door suddenly shattering and the other glass door falling down and striking a doctor in a clinic after a woman pushed it open.

The woman outside, scared by the sudden incident, covered her head with both hands and then sat down on the steps outside the clinic. The doctor was knocked to the ground, clutching her head.

On hearing the commotion, her colleague rushed over and helped her to a chair nearby.

In response to the incident, the head of the clinic reassured that the doctor was not seriously injured and had only sustained minor injuries to her skin.

The clinic, which only registered with the market supervision department in July 2022, is new, raising questions about the quality of its infrastructure. The legal representative of the clinic said that the company's legal staff would handle the matter.

A staff member from the Health Bureau of Haizhou District, Lianyungang, said they would investigate the matter and respond accordingly.

该诊所负责人回应称，被砸中的医生无大碍，只受了皮外伤。
据了解，该诊所在市场监管部门登记注册时间是2022年7月，是一家新诊所。玻璃门为何会碎裂，是否有质量问题，诊所方面是否考虑向厂家或玻璃门供应商追责？该法定代表人称，公司会有法务人员处理此事。
连云港市海州区卫健局相关工作人员表示，他们会去了解此事后进行回复。
