STORYLINE:
Shuangliu Sports Center Stadium in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province covers a floor area of 22,900 square meters.
It will serve as the venue for track and field events of the 31st FISU Summer World University Games.
It has one field of play for competition and one for warm-up.

"The concept of green and cost-effectiveness has been implemented in the entire preparation work of this venue. As an existing stadium, it has relatively limited space. We have innovatively adopted a kind of two-way electric vehicle to save space and reduce carbon emissions."
The Summer Universiade will take place in Chengdu between July 28 and August 8, featuring a total of 18 sports.
The athletics events will be held from August 1 to 6, with a total of 50 gold medals to be awarded.
