Train collides with truck stuck at crossing, sparks huge fire in Indonesia

A high-speed train crashed into a truck that was stuck on the railway tracks, causing a huge fire at a crossing in Indonesia.

The incident occurred at 7.28 pm local time on July 18, in Kerobokan, Semarang City, Central Java Province.

One person was injured and no casualties were recorded.

In footage filmed by Muhammad Fauzi, locals, eyewitness who filmed the moment said, before the accident, they were hanging out on the roadside, then they saw a large truck stuck on the railroad tracks.

"We got closer to the truck and saw its rear tire stuck on the tracks," Fauzi added.

They saw the truck driver exit the cabin, getting off after the co-driver who had gone first to ask the crossing guard post for help.

"But the train that came so fast made the truck not be able to be saved" Fauzi said.
