Car plunges into deep pit as driver forgets to pull handbrake in China
A car plunged into a deep pit as the driver forgot to pull the handbrake after stopping it on a slope in China.
The CCTV footage was filmed in the city fo Ankang in Shaanxi Province on July 9.
Chen, the unfortunate car owner, had briefly left his vehicle without applying the handbrake, in order to go back into his house and change his shoes. However, when he returned, he was left staring aghast as his car toppled into a nearby pit.
Luckily, only the front and rear bumpers and the driver's door were damaged, everything else was fine. Chen is currently navigating through the necessary insurance procedures to repair the damages.
