This is the moment a metal object flew from the back of a truck and struck another car cracking its windshield.

The item was loaded on the back of a pick-up truck zipping through the Burachat Camp in Ratchaburi, Thailand, on July 19 afternoon.

Dashcam footage taken from a Toyota Fortuner shows the truck overtaking on the right when the heavy object flew from the cargo bed and hit the windscreen. It left a large crack but did not pierce the glass.

The Fortuner's owners said they shared the video online to find the truck driver as the license plate was unclear in the dashcam footage.
