STORYLINE:
Palestinian died to critical head wounds, another critically injured during Umm Safa confrontations. One of the injured succumbed to his critical head wounds shortly after reaching the hospital. He was identified as 17-year-old Mohammed Fo'ad Atta al-Bayyed from the al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah. Dozens of others suffocated due to tear gas inhalation. For the past few weeks, the village has been witnessing escalated Israeli forces and settlers’ attacks against it, including the burning of homes and vehicles and the usage of live fire against residents and their homes. On July 7, twenty-four Palestinian young man, Abdel Jawad Hamdan Saleh, was shot and killed after being shot by Israeli forces’ live fire in the village of Umm-Safa
