Army worms eat a forest of wattle trees dry in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu. Kenya

Video depicts a forest of leafless wattle trees that have been wiped out by a swarm of army worm. The said worms are the size of middle finger and brightly multicoloured as seen here in the video. There are a few remaining worms still crawling in search of the now scarce leaves. The forest floor is littered with decomposing carcasses long dead worms and some so recent that still look fresh. I visited the farm today after hearing the issue on news last night.
The forest now looks eerily scary with tall leafless trees with cleanly wiped out grass
