Tourist has Thai holiday nightmare with metal RING stuck in his penis
A tourist's sex holiday to Thailand turned into a nightmare when he had to call an ambulance - to remove a metal ring stuck on his penis.
The randy Swiss man, 52, was staying in notorious ‘Sin City' Pattaya when he had a ‘sexual experiment' with the piece of hardware on Monday night.
However, his manhood suddenly swelled uncontrollably and the item became firmly stuck at the base of his genitalia.
In agony, he staggered to the hotel reception and pleaded for the staff to call the emergency services.
Medics rushed him to the hospital where they used water to keep his groin cool while they slid a piece of metal under to protect his skin. They then used a circular saw to cut through the metal as sparks flew.
A news reporter who was allowed access to the ward recorded the rescue team as they removed the ring. It finally came loose around two hours later.
Paramedic Thanapong Aok-aoon from the Sawang Boriboon first aid volunteers said the holidaymaker had been in his hotel 'pleasuring himself' with the ring.
He said: "We asked what had happened and they said he had been pleasuring himself. I was confused but we just collected him as normal in the ambulance while we took advice on how to handle the incident.'
Colleague Jirasak Nuchlek added: "I picked the patient up from South Pattaya. He was in discomfort. I used a stainless steel grinding disc to grind in the centre of both sides.
"It was a specialized grinder that had a pad to place underneath when grinding. It took almost two hours.'
Thanapong said the tourist was in pain but received painkillers to help him cope. He promised not to play around with any more unconventional items while he is on holiday.
The paramedic added: "Rings are meant to be worn on fingers and should be removed promptly if they become swollen. Avoid leaving them on for an extended period.
"We told him to please wear rings in appropriate locations".
Thailand's current military government has made efforts in recent years to clean up Pattaya after it was dubbed the 'sex capital' of the world and a modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah.
However, the coastal city's round-the-clock adult industry which provides middle-aged men with an abundance of beautiful women still proves a draw for many tourists from the UK, Europe, India, Russia, and Australia.
