China's rail-sea intermodal trains have made 5,000 trips along the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor this year.
A cargo train departed from the Qinzhou port station in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Sunday, marking the 5,000th trip.
Qinzhou port, together with Fangcheng port and Beihai port, serves as an important transit point in the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.

"Since the beginning of this year, our intermodal trains have completed for four times the transport of more than 700 TEU on one single shift. The transport efficiency has reached 845 TEU per shift at maximum capacity, up 15 percent year on year."
Launched in 2017, the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor is a trade and logistics passage jointly built by provincial-level regions in western China and ASEAN members.
The rail-sea intermodal service has expanded to cover 61 cities in 17 provincial-level areas in China.
