Cars drove through a flooded highway as Typhoon Doksuri batters the Philippines today.

Video shows vehicles battling through the high waters swamping the road in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, on July 25.

Philippine weather agency PAGASA said Typhoon Doksuri, known in the country as 'Egay', had been bringing scattered rainstorms while enhancing the southwest monsoon but it intensified overnight into a super typhoon.

The agency said Doksuri may graze densely populated Luzon island on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning as it tracks northwest towards Taiwan and China.
