Heavy floods In Mumbai, India
The heavy rains that began on Wednesday continued to lash Mumbai and its suburbs on Thursday (July 27).
The rains caused waterlogging in low-lying areas, which led to traffic jams. The traffic jams were especially bad in areas where the roads were already narrow and congested. The waterlogging also caused power outages and disruptions to public transportation.
The rains are expected to continue for the next few days, so residents of Mumbai and its suburbs are advised to be prepared for flooding and other disruptions. They should also avoid driving in low-lying areas if possible.
