A giant whale shark weighing 2 tons washed up on the coast of Nghe An, central Vietnam.

Footage from July 28 filmed by Phan Ngoc Anh shows fishermen and locals inspecting the 8-metre-long carcass.

The whale shark carcass was discovered by fishermen in the morning and was towed back to shore.

The fishermen then buried the whale shark according to local customs.

According to local fishermen, they discovered the shark carcass while on a fishing boat in the morning. A very large shark with a length of about 8 meters is drifting ashore.
This is a whale shark, with a large size and they only appear in the deep sea.
Fishermen then proceeded to bury the shark according to local customs.
