STORYLINE:
 
In the height of summer, over 1,000 artists from across the world are gathering in China's Urumqi for an international dance festival.
 
The 6th China Xinjiang International Dance Festival, with a theme of "Dreams of Dance, Harmony of Silk Road," features around 60 performances, such as ballet, folk dance drama and musical drama.

"We have participated in many dance festivals. Each time, we get to see performances by dance troupes from different countries. These performances, completely different from our own, greatly aid in our growth and experience accumulation on our dance journey."

"After watching the dance drama "Zhang Qian" last night, I could feel the strong tension. The storyline was incredibly moving, the stage design was very unique, and it left a deep impression. There were acts of assistance between people, betrayal, hardships, and touching love stories."

"It is, in fact, an exchange of different cultures. You can see that through our own cultural perspective, we are able to perceive the value and significance of other civilizations and the cultural traditions they carry, which evokes a sense of emotional resonance within us."
 
The festival will last for 17 days until August 5.
