This inspiring transgender woman born without legs won spectators' hearts as she did a fierce cat walk for the Miss Trans Thailand 2023 pageant last week.

Footage shows Oumbun Maikhao or Oum, 23, confidently strutting across the stage in a swimsuit during the pageant's preliminaries at Mambo Entertainment in Bangkok, Thailand, on July 27.

Oum showed off her figure, earning applause from the crowd as she struck several poses with her head held high for the cameras.

The audience erupted into roaring cheers when she took the microphone from the kneeling emcee and proudly introduced herself as the pageant representative from Bueng Kan province.

Despite having no legs and only one arm, Oum had beat 76 other candidates and landed among the top 22 ladies vying for the crown.

The pageant finals were held on July 29, and though Oum lost the title to Polly Nthaya of Singburi province, she earned admiration from the public, who said they admired her bravery, positivity and perseverance.
