Coffee lovers can enjoy a cup of their favourite brew while surrounded by various exotic serpents at this awesome snake cafe in Thailand.

Nestled in Samut Sakhon province 30 miles away from Bangkok, the Maha Exotic Cafe is a sanctuary for caffeine connoisseurs and snake enthusiasts.

The woman behind the unusual venture is Supapan Sawanyanukit, an ardent snake lover with seven years of experience caring for the reptiles. She said she decided to open the cafe to allow people to connect with the misunderstood creatures.

Supapan consulted with a fellow snake fanatic and planned for an entire year before finally opening the cafe to the public in 2022.

At the exotic animal sanctuary, adventurous patrons can interact with a myriad of non-aggressive and non-venomous snake species, including hulking ball pythons and vividly coloured corn snakes.

Those wanting to learn more about the reptiles can enter a separate room away from the bustling cafe area. Here, knowledgeable staff members serve as expert guides, offering insights into snake behavior, biology, and proper care.

Supapan said: 'The cafe primarily attracts students, families, and animal enthusiasts who have a keen interest in exotic animals.

'However, we also aim to appeal to a broader range of customers, to encourage acceptance and appreciation of these unique creatures.'

Visitors can choose to pay a 100-THB (3 USD) entry fee, or buy from the cafe's in order to see the snakes.
