An exhausted dog that was battling to stay afloat in raging floodwater was rescued by its owner in the nick of time.

Footage from July 30 shows the canine struggling in rapid-flowing water in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province.

The pooch managed to escape the main flow of water by reaching a small patch of land near the river's edge.

After several failed attempts to climb to safety, the dog was eventually scooped out of danger by its owner using a rope.

7月30日，河北石家庄，一只狗狗被卷入滚滚洪流，几度被洪水吞没，命悬一线。狗狗拼命挣扎，终于游到了岸边仅有的一点儿土地上，但此时它已经精疲力尽了，几次想要跳到岸上都没成功！眼看着水位线继续上涨，狗狗随时都有被再次冲走的可能。这时主人及时赶到，带着绳子赶来救狗。

狗狗似乎也明白了主人的用意，配合着趴在岸边，很顺利的就被主人给提到岸上，幸运获救。


Dog Swept Away by Flood Waters and Too Exhausted to Reach Shore, Owner Rescues It in the Nick of Time

On July 30, in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, a dog was swept into the raging floodwaters, almost engulfed several times, hanging on by a thread.

The dog struggled desperately, finally swimming to the only small patch of land on the shore, but by this time it was completely exhausted, and its several attempts to jump onto the shore were unsuccessful!

With the water level continuing to rise, there was the constant danger that the dog could be swept away again. At this critical moment, the owner arrived just in time, rushing over with a rope to rescue the dog.

The dog seemed to understand its owner's intentions, cooperatively lying down at the edge of the shore, and was smoothly lifted onto the bank by its owner, fortunately rescued.
