A couple saved a dog struggling to get out of a river in eastern China

The heroic video was filmed in the city of Taizhou in Zhejiang Province on July 27.

A couple spotted a dog struggling to get out of a river and sprung into action to rescue it. They quickly fashioned a makeshift rescue harness using a rope, tossing it toward the dog.

The frightened dog, however, couldn't ascend as the rope slipped.

But the couple refused to give up. They then found a long stick to continue the rescue.

Finally, the dog was saved successfully.

On July 27th, amidst heavy rainfall in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, a heartwrenching scene unfolded as a small yellow dog fought to stay afloat on a rocky bank, surrounded by a turbulent river.

A passing couple noticed the distressed animal and ingeniously used a yellow rope to create a makeshift rescue harness, but the dog couldn't ascend.

Undeterred, they swiftly found a long stick and extended it towards the dog, eventually managing to pull the grateful canine to safety.
