This is the amusing moment a girl pressed on with her daily skincare routine while wading through floods in the Philippines.

The storm could not stop Destine Skylar Tica, 10, from completing her daily regimen as she scrubbed her face with cleanser and rinsed it off using floodwaters swamping Santo Domingo town in Ilocos Sur province on July 26.

The youngster's aunt, Gwyneth, said she had retrieved her facial wash when the flood began entering their house.

She said: 'I was holding the bottle while we were walking on the road to roam around when she suddenly asked if she can use it to wash her face.

'I took a video because I found it funny that she wanted to wash her face in the middle of the flooded road. My cousin and I didn't expect her to use the water from the flood. We couldn't stop laughing.'

Super Typhoon Doksuri, known as Egay in the Philippines, battered the country but weakened slightly overnight, losing its super typhoon status on July 26. It brought gale-force winds and heavy rain, killing at least 30, the country's national disaster agency said.

Chinese media said Doksuri has landed in Jinjiang City in China's southeastern Fujian province on July 28 morning. The typhoon displaced tens of thousands of people and left at least 11 dead, state broadcaster CCTV reported.
