Vigilant cop saves life of woman who slipped while boarding moving train in eastern India

A vigilant Railway Protection Force (RPF) cop saved the life of a woman after she had slipped while boarding a moving train in eastern India's West Bengal.

This happened at platform number two of Midnapore railway station in Paschim Medinipur junction on August 2.

Visuals showed the moment when the cop, named RB Acharya, rushed to the woman's aid after she had slipped and fallen while boarding the moving train. The passenger, about 25 years of age, had gotten down the train to fetch some water and hurriedly tried to board it after it had started moving. In the process, she fell down and the the cop ran to her aid. She pushed her inside the train as it set off, thereby preventing a major accident from taking place.
