British Telecom (BT) are planning to remove a public pay phone box that's only been used 3 times in the last year in Kent, UK.

In a sign-of-the-times, BT are rapidly phasing out the traditional style phone booths that were once ubiquitous across the country.

The phone box earmarked for removal is situated in Blue Town high street Sheerness - directly opposite a mobile phone mast - which is in direct competition to, and rapidly replacing the old fashioned analogue technology.

78-year-old retired electrician Tim Bell is seen using the dilapidated phone box this afternoon (August 4).
