A missing windsurfer was rescued by U.S. Coast Guards near a lighthouse in San Francisco, California.

An Air station San Francisco MH-65 Dolphin Helicopter aircrew, Coast Guard Station Golden Gate 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew, and San Francisco firefighters and cops, launched a search operation to find the man reported missing by his family on August 5.

Rescuers found the distressed individual near the Point Bonita Lighthouse and safely evacuated him on a helicopter.

The man had no injuries and was transported to Air Station San Francisco.
