Israel is currently grappling with a relentless summer heatwave as soaring temperatures pose a risk of dehydration and heat stroke. Seeking relief from the sweltering heat, people across the country flock to natural springs, public beaches, and fountains.
 
Gan Hashalosha, a national park in northern Israel, is particularly popular due to its spring waters with a constant 28 degrees Celcius all year round. In addition to national parks, the Mediterranean Sea in the west, the Sea of Galilee in the north, which is a freshwater lake, as well as numerous fountains in cities are also good options for people to enjoy coolness in the water and escape the scorching conditions.
 
Amid heatwaves, the Israel Health Ministry has called on the general public, and especially the elderly population and patients with chronic diseases, to be cautious and avoid exposure to the heat and the sun as much as possible, to avoid unnecessary physical exertion, and to make sure to drink water.
