Terrifying moment a boy teeters on the edge of a 1st-floor window in China as an alarmed onlooker makes a life-saving call to the police.
Video filmed in Shanghai on August 7, shows a young child balancing precariously on the ledge, as a horrified woman's voice is heard calling out to the child, desperately attempting to dissuade the adventurous tot from danger.
But the quick-thinking onlooker does not stop there. With the child's life hanging in the balance, she immediately reports the incident to the police.
Due to the quick and efficient response of the Shanghai police, the child was rescued safe and sound.
